“How many times did we hope to have that magic meeting? How many times have we wished that deep union with the partner, imagining that total, wild sex and, at the same time, addictive for the body, the soul and the mind? Things that we can only see in movies. Can we only see these things in movies?
Maybe not. Some suggestions can arrive from the analysis of a modern approach with tantric sex.
In the era of the virtual meetings in the internet and of the hurry to obtain and consume everything immediately, we lost the pleasure of simple things of life, we forgot how much the skin to skin contact is nourishing, or we unlearned to give ourselves the right time to make love. Making love is an art that requires dedication and commitment, starting from the moment we choose to make it.
If we let the meeting happen in the same standard way, for example in the evening before going to sleep, with all the stress of the day on our shoulders, no wonder that sex is transformed in a sort of outburst, a sort of fight between the partners. Making love should happen spontaneously, joyously, playfully. Lovers should be in the right mental condition, relaxed, so that they can communicate with each other in a loving space. For this reason, it is needed to put much care on the meditation techniques, that help to relax and empty the mind.
Here below a technique to help improving communication between the two, in the bed and also outside of it.
FOREPLAY: GIVE YOUR SENSES THE TIME TO OPEN
Many difficulties in couples’ sexuality are often due to a lack of synchronization in the warming up timings of the partners. Here the importance to allow an adequate time for foreplay, that has not to be considered as a “before”, but it’s an integral part of lovemaking.
In Tantra, much importance is given to the preparation phases, not only of the external environment, of the room in which you make love, but of yourself too. A useful technique is for example to open your senses to the meeting of the other, in particular the sense of touch. In Tantra we want to get back to a natural side of sexuality, lived, in fact, with all the senses.”
