An extract from Swaram’s interview to Radha C. Luglio on Love Osho podcast.
“For me, what has always mattered is that by awakening sexual energy you can actually have experiences which are, so to say, “cosmic”; if you allow your sexual energy to be free it can expand in ways that are not so available to humans but everyone can do that, everyone can contact that.
So, I realized that I have to focus more on sex because people know what sex is, everyone has this energy available and so that’s how my whole work gets transformed into a Tantra teaching. (…) I start from meditation. For me there is no Tantra without meditation and that doesn’t make necessarily the experience a big esoteric spiritual experience but in every step of the way I connect Tantra and the sexual part with an expansion. Actually tan-tra means “method to expand”, so sexual energy awakened through meditation can actually open the doors to this expansion. And this expansion is, in a way, out of the ego, out of the shell that we have created around the personality. I’m very interested in an awareness that goes beyond the personality and that can only be achieved through meditation. (…)

If you look at many other Tantra schools, they are not so focused on life, on what people call “real life”. People feel that ‘Yes, it’s beautiful, I liked to do that, but then when I go to my life, my real life, then what?’
For me, it is more important to integrate whatever you learn or you transform, because it’s more about transformation. It’s not that you learn a technique and you take it home; yet, it’s more about transforming your life, expanding it, and bringing the expansion into any action of your daily life.
That’s why I decided to call my work Tantralife. For me the real life is a life that contains a conscious and natural sex.”
